Final Portfolio- My Best Work

At the beginning of the year I thought that this class was boring. Now I really like this class and learned a lot of techniques for picture taking. Coming into this class I knew nothing. Now I know a lot about digital photography like composition  and lighting. I use to not care or couldn't really tell if the picture was blurry. Now I make sure that it is in clear focus. Now I look at other photographers pictures and see the actually meaning in the photograph. My greatest strength is knowing how to make a simple picture better. My greatest weakness is getting the time to take the pictures. I don't know if I'll use this again or not.

Filter Experiments

In the filter project we had to choose one picture and do 20 different filters for it. My goal for this project was to get this done at school. Yes, I met this goal because I finished it on the last day we had to do it. My greatest strength was seeing what the filter did and if it was right for the photograph. One thing that could improve on is more experimenting with the different photos. Which photograph do you think is the best.

Spot The Difference

I was told to create a game of spot the difference. This is how you play:
First, you look at the images. Second, you pick out the differences in the edited picture.
There are 10 differences that you need to spot in the picture.

Best Shots-Project 4

To complete project 4 I had to work out of class a lot. I also had to wait till it got dark outside. I had to buy glow sticks to use to light paint. I needed my family to light paint while I was taking the picture. Without them I don't think my project would've got done. I had to make sure they filled up the frame .

Best Shots-Project 2

For this project I had to take a lot of pictures. For the leading lines I had to use my brain to figure out what I could use for that. For the flag I had to get the color just right to make it look cooler. For looking up at the stuff I had to get the view just right.

Family

American Midwest Family
I found this photograph on National Geographic

I chose this picture because it explains my family perfectly. Usually when we go to the beach and stuff we have a circle of chairs and the little kids are climbing on stuff.
I want to get a least a A- in this class. I also want to learn how to use a camera and take better photos.
